The fee for making up a missed class is $5.00.
The purpose of this fee is to help raise funds for needed studio immprovements,

MAKE-UP POLICIES
FOR ONCE-A-WEEK COURSES MEETING 3 - 5 WEEKS,
TWICE-A-WEEK COURSES, & PREPAID DROP-INS
The fee for a make-up class is $5.00. The purpose
of this fee is to help raise funds for needed
studio improvements, such as new walls and new props, as well as infastructure and
building maintenance.
Students are fully responsible for their attendance.
Make-ups are subject to the policies outlined below.
1. Students in 3-5 week once-a-week courses, twice-a-week courses, and prepaid drop-in
courses can make up at other once-a-week courses, twice-a-week courses,
and weekend drop-in classes.
2. The cost per each make-up is $5
and is payable to the instructor when you take a make-up.
3. One make-up is allowed per two class meetings (example 4 makeups for
an 8-session course).
4. Make-ups for 3- to 5-week once-a-week courses, twice-a-week courses,
and prepaid drop-ins must be completed
during the same calendar month as the course for which the student is
registered and cannot be made up in the next calendar month.
5. No make-ups can be taken at Intensives, Workshops, or Pranayama courses.
6. Make-ups cannot be at a higher level course than one has taken in the
past, or is currently taking.
7. Make-ups do not need to be pre-arranged.
8. Students making up a course must check in with the new instructor to pay
the make-up fee, to let the instructor know which course is being made-up,
and to describe to the instructor any injuries, restrictions or medical
conditions that affect the student

(Monday, 7:40pm (L1/2); Tuesday, 7:40pm (Slow); &
Thursday, 7:40pm(L1/2))

Make-ups for once-a-week courses meeting 6-10 weeks are subject to the policies outlined below.
1. Students in 6-10 week once-a-week course (Monday, 7:40pm; Tuesday, 7:40pm; &
Thursday, 7:40pm) can make up at other once-a-week courses, twice-a-week courses,
and weekend drop-in classes.

INTENSIVE CLASSES
Intensive students may make-up classes at other intensives,
as well as at once- and twice-a-week reserved courses and drop-in classes.
1. Intensive students may now make-up classes at other intensives,
as well as at once- and twice-a-week reserved courses and drop-in classes.
2. The cost per each make-up is $5 and is payable to the instructor
when you take a make-up.
3. The last day to make-up a class is the last scheduled day of
the intensive in which the student is enrolled.
4. A student may take 6 make-ups per intensive.
5. Make-ups cannot be at a higher level course than one has taken in
the past, or is currently taking.
6. No make-ups are allowed at the Friday 7:00am Intensive class, which
is a Pranayama class.
7. Make-ups do not need to be pre-arranged.
8. Students making up an intensive must check in with the new instructor
to pay the make-up fee, to let the instructor know which intensive is being
made-up, and to describe to the instructor any injuries, restrictions or
medical conditions that affect the student.
There are no extensions or credit to future months'
classes for missed lessons. If you need to cancel your space in a course, call
the Center immediately at (206) 526-9642 and leave a message giving your name
and telephone number(s) and course are cancelling. You may also
cancel by e-mail at info@yogaseattle.com
leaving the same information as for telephone calls.
Credit in the form of class credits will be given
from the point you are cancelling, to the end of the once- or twice-weekly
course, intensive, or prepaid drop-in for the same person, and cannot
be used for retail purchases or gift certificates. Class credits are good for
a period of one year.
We do not give refunds for cancelling, or for
unused or missed classes. No exceptions will be made. A refund will be
given only if the course you requested is full for the month for which you
are seeking admission, or is cancelled by the Center.
If you cancel your space
in a workshop prior to 12 noon on the Wednesday before the workshop, you will
recieve a credit in the form of future classes or workshops for yourself
with staff instructors at the Center, valid for one year.
For those cancelling after noon on the Wednesday before the workshop, no credit will be given.
No refunds will be given. Cancellations must be made via phone at (206) 526-9642 or e-mail at
info@yogaseattle.com.
In order to receive credit for cancelling a Therapeutics or
Healthier Back class, students must provide a 24-hour advance notice of the cancellation
by calling or emailing the office. No refunds.

for Iyengar Yoga Practice Intensives
Registrants for Practice Intensives are eligible to receive full credit
toward a future Practice Intensive or Teacher Training Course for cancellations
by on the first day of the course. Notification of cancellation must be in
writing (via snail mail or email) or by calling the Center Office. The
credit must be taken within eighteen months of the cancellation.
If a student has a credit from the Center for having cancelled from
a previous program, in the event that the future rescheduled course
is cancelled, we will extend credit toward another course, but under
no circumstance will we give a refund.
We offer the option of refunds only when the Center cancels the
Practice Intensive for which a student originally registered.

Registrants for 5-Day Teacher Training Courses are eligible to receive full credit toward a
future Teacher Training course or Practice Intensive, for cancellations
one month or more before the start of the course. Notification of
cancellation must be in writing (via snail mail or email)or by calling the Center Office. The
credit must be taken within eighteen months of the cancellation.
If a student has a credit from the Center for having cancelled from
a previous program, in the event that the future rescheduled course
is cancelled, we will extend credit toward another course, but under
no circumstance will we give a refund.
No credit will be given for cancellations less than one month before
the start of the course.
We offer the option of refunds only when the Center cancels the
Teacher Training Course for which a student originally registered.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
for the 4-Week Summer Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Immersion
There are no refunds for cancelling out of the program. No credits are available
to other programs offered by the Center.
Refunds will be given in three situations only:
- If the Workshop is already full, we will refund
your full tuition.
- If you cancel your space and your written notification
is postmarked two weeks before the start of the Workshop or earlier, you will receive
a 90% refund.
- If you cancel within two weeks of the Workshop, we will
give you a 90% refund only if you cancel your space, the program is full, and your
space can be filled from our waiting list.
Credit toward future workshosp, intensives, or classes
sponsored by the Center for Yoga of Seattle for canceling is available if the Center
is notified of the cancellation at least two weeks prior to the course.
Gift certificates expire in a period of one year
from purchase and are not refundable or transferable. Private lessons must be
cancelled by giving a 24-hour advance notice of cancellation in order to be
rescheduled.
