Iyengar is alignment based and focuses on the foundation of the asana. In the Iyengar tradition you will also be introduced to the use of props to modify or deepen your asana. You will be instructed in the proper use of props as well. B.K.S. Iyengar pioneered this approach to make yoga for everyone.
